Dear Aspiring Digital Photographer,
You already know that Digital Cameras are fast becoming the HOTTEST way to take outstanding photographs that you can use for any purpose you desire.
Have you tried using one? If you have, perhaps your experience was similar to mine.
When I first started using a Digital Camera several years ago, I was blown away by the things I could do with that little gadget. It was fun to use. It was convenient. It was inexpensive to operate, because there was no film to buy and no film to develop. Even more importantly, this camera allowed me to be creative in a way that film cameras never had.
Because I could see my pictures instantly in the camera, I always knew how they turned out. If a shot didn’t work, I could retake it immediately. I never again faced the disappointment of discovering that my pictures of a special event were ruined.
I could take as many pictures as I wanted without worrying about running out of film. I could practice using the camera’s special features as much and as often as I wanted – since there was no film to buy or develop.
When other people wanted to see my pictures, I could display them immediately on the camera’s LCD screen – or even attach the camera to a television set and let people view the pictures on the big screen!
When pictures weren’t perfect, I could correct them later on my computer. I could change the picture’s size, change the shape, change the color – add special effects, add text – the list of possibilities goes on an on.
I could print the pictures on my home printer – giving me immediate prints in any size I wanted. Or, if I wasn’t in the mood to do it myself, I could have my pictures printed quickly and economically at an online photo service or at a local kiosk.
I could email my pictures to friends or display them at online photo galleries.
There was only one problem! One Big Problem!
It took me a long time to figure out how to do all this!
I’m not a whiz kid with technology, you see. I’m just an ordinary person wanting to take interesting photographs without too much fuss and bother.
But I soon discovered that a digital camera is much different than a film camera. The instruction manual confused me. The sales clerk at the camera store confused me even more.
In fact, when I bought my first camera, I didn’t have a clue what the guy was saying. He could have been using a foreign language when he started taking about megapixels, dpi and ppi, multiple bursts and other mumbo jumbo. I ended up buying a camera and hoping I could figure it out later.
I had SO MANY frustrating experiences before I gradually learned how to make the camera do what I wanted it to do.
I even bought a big, expensive book about digital photography. It must have been written by the same guy who worked in the camera store. The author assumed that the readers understood a lot of terms and techniques that I’d never heard of.
I don’t want you to have the same problems as I did.
I’ve taken all this know-how that I learned the hard way and put it into an eBook that will take you by the hand and show you exactly in a simple, straight forward style how you too can use a digital camera to take exciting, memorable photographs.
I don’t take it for granted that you understand technological terms. I explain everything in down to earth language. I tell you everything you need to know about choosing a digital camera and using it.
